Booking & Payments
All pricing and marquee letters are held for 5 days following your proposal date. A signed rental agreement and a 50% deposit are required to officially reserve your marquee letters and secure your booking. Final payment is due two weeks prior to your event. A valid credit card must remain on file and may be used for additional charges such as damages, missing items, late returns, cleaning fees, or added services.
Delivery, Setup & Pickup
Delivery, setup, and pickup are included for events within a 30-mile radius of our facility in Philadelphia. We’ll ensure your marquee letters are delivered and set up prior to your event start time. If a specific delivery or setup time is required, please let us know at least 7 days in advance so we can accommodate your request.
Events outside the 30-mile radius may incur an additional delivery fee starting at $50, based on distance. Any applicable delivery fees will always be discussed during the quoting process and included in your final invoice.
Delivery typically occurs the day of or day before your event, with pickup scheduled for the same day or the following day. All items must be kept indoors and in a secure location until pickup. If items are not available for pickup or returned on time, additional rental fees may apply. Items not returned within three days may be charged replacement fees. To avoid this, please ensure all items are left together in the agreed-upon location or coordinate access with your venue.
Our rental fees include professional setup using only the items we provide. We do not install or decorate with outside décor. Setup and breakdown do not include cleanup of non-rental items. If you choose self-setup, all rented items must be returned clean and complete as they were received.
Customer Pickup Requirements
Clients choosing pickup must arrive with a secure, appropriate vehicle. Rented items must be secured inside the vehicle. No pickup truck or flatbed transportation. Orders may be denied if safe transport requirements are not met. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be issued in these cases.
Damaged or Missing Items
Once items are in your possession, responsibility transfers to the renter. Items should be returned in like-new condition. Normal wear such as light smudges is acceptable; excessive dirt, damage, or missing items may result in additional fees.
Weather Considerations
We do not issue refunds due to weather or other uncontrollable circumstances. For outdoor events, clients assume all risks related to weather conditions. If severe weather poses a safety concern, we may recommend alternative options or substitutions. Please discuss a backup plan with your event coordinator in advance.
Order Changes
All changes must be submitted in writing to avoid confusion. Substitutions are allowed up to 14 days prior to your event, based on availability. Changes made on the event day may result in additional charges.
Cancellations
All payments are non-refundable once your event date is reserved. Cancellations received 30 days prior to the event will release you from the remaining balance unless special-order items were purchased specifically for your event. If your event is postponed, your deposit may be applied as a credit toward a future date.
Photography Use
By booking with Modern Glow Marquee, you grant permission for us to use photos from your event for promotional purposes, including our website and social media.
